Qutb-ud-Din Bahadur Shah, also known as Ghiyas-ud-Din Bahadur Shah, was the last of the Sultans of Gujarat and ruled from 1414 to 1447. The name Ghiyas-ud-Din Bahadur Shah is derived from the Persian word “ghias”, meaning “lion”, and the name of his ancestor, Muhammad bin Qasim.
